Mate, you have to quit the game, change the Image sharpening value and then test again.
Did you do that? AND, don't forget to hit Apply changes before testing again!

@SMN

Okay, it's NOT RGM, but did you do the Image sharpening changes the way I described it?
The game reads the settings when started and then it doesn't give a damn about changed
settings, so to do a change you have to quit the game, do the change in NPI, hit the Apply
changes and then start the game again. So do that and show me the 0.50 value, with or
without RGM!

EDIT: And I hope you have this setting:
Antialiasing compatibility (DX1x) ------------------ '0x80000A7F'
NOT
Antialiasing compatibility (DX1x) ------------------ '0x80000F7F'

@SMN

Okay, the one signed as fix3! Hit F11 when standing at the location, fill in some info
and hit Report, then give me the generated line in the file bugs.txt in the same folder
as config.cfg!

@SMN

Okay, let me fire up the game and relocate myself to that spot,
so I can see myself! Be right back!
