@BenganJ
I put a mod under your SAT BG and bought or upgraded a new track but nothing happened.
I hope you can solve your problem.

@BenganJ

I have redone the mod but game still crashing on leaving the dealer. Making the two changes in global config, graphics flip on leaving dealer. So until there is a solution I will on the very infrequent occasions I visit dealers will temporarily rescale!

Any way time to get out Frosty - we now have Snow! :D

SMN asks you in a previous comment about RGM4.0.

@Road Runner

My game crashes as soon as I go into the Truck Config and I can see that the truck never is there!
Slide away then mate! :D :D :D

My mod was for ATS... i wouldn't just use it in ETS2.
I only checked via menu "vehicle browser" and could view them all with waves background. Which is the same scene as when you visit service centre and config.
I modded the dealer file but never drove to one to test as i wasn't happy with the look or this method for a fix.

Here's my settings for your reference:-

Windows 7 64bit - GTX760 driver 441.12

NPI settings:-
Antialiasing compatibility (DX1x) 0x8000077F
Maximum pre-rendered frames 3
Antialiasing - Line gamma Enabled
Antialiasing - Mode Override
Antialiasing - Setting 4xMS
Antialiasing - Transparency SS 4xSGSS
Power management mode Prefer maximum performance
Memory Allocation Policy 0x00000002
The rest are driver default.

ATS/ETS2 config.cfg settings:-
uset r_multimon_mode "1"
uset r_buffer_page_size "20"
uset g_menu_aa_limit "8" - game default (this is the only thing now that flips the gfx if it's set to "0"

ETS2 testing done with a new profile and new home directory so no mods present.
Also no commandline settings.

ATS testing with years old profile and a few basic personal mods and a few commandline settings.

With the above i can play both ATS and ETS2 exactly as you can when you don't force AA. By that i mean no flipping graphics what so ever and any menu background.
Multimon_mode 0 and 1 are basically the same thing. Both render one image on the screen, be it 1 monitor or 2 or 3. It's just one rendered image stretched to fit width. That also means the menu is stretched to suit. But with Multimon_mode 1 this sets the menu to be in the middle of the image only.
Multimon_mode 2 & 3 are of no use because they render 3 images and fit to available size. You can do it on one monitor and you'll see 3 images squashed into it and looking strange.
But with multiple rendered images AA won't work. It never did with DX9 either.
Multimon_mode 4 allows you to totally config up to 4 screens with far more control over settings that 2&3 can't. So modifying the multimon_config file that is generated when using Multimon_mode 4 allows you to config just 1 screen. This works for ATS but not ETS2 (flipping gfx).
So my conclusion, Multimon_mode 1 works for both. ATS and ETS2 don't share the exact same render code.

Another difference is the zoom feature (handy for my old eyes to see upcoming signs). This still works with multi_mode 1 on ETS2 but not on ATS and that's despite Max@scs (i think) telling someone that zoom can't be used when using multimon_mode 1/2/3/4. This was around the time that feature was added.

So unless i can get flipping gfx again i have nothing to fix and therefore nothing to share with the group.

@JHTrucker

Thanks for showing your settings. I'll do some more tests, stubborn as I am! :D
So, keep an eye on this topic at least!

@clear F1

Ah, now I see it! :oops: BTW, you can not refer to times in the forum, as you have
all times shown in Japanese time and I have them in Central European Time (CET).
