Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
My apologies, I am obviously causing some upset here - my only intention was to help. So I will now withdraw from any further involvement on this topic.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I tested this one and it works VERY well on my system, except that I refuse to set Scaling = 400%, as that can make NPI useless and we onlyRoad Runner wrote: ↑January 5th, 2020, 10:43 pmBack with you!
A number of us are having problems using Sparse Grid. :( As an alternative approach for those (and even if you have been successful) please could you test these settings:
INGAME; Graphics - Scaling 400%, SMAA DISABLE, Mirrors as you wish
Nvidia Inspector;
Keep most of your settings
including
AA Compatibility 0x80000F72 (most important!)
AA Mode Overide Application
Now the cahnges
AA Setting 32xs (Combined 2x2SS + 8xMS)
AA Transparency Supersampling 8 x Supersampling
Set LOD back to 0.000
That's it. I found this perhap[s not as good as using Sparse grid method but better than in game SMAA. To ensure a fair assessment please turn off headlights in day time.
Thanks - look forward to your reports. :)
will see the result of the in-game DSR (Scaling = 400%). I have a hard time to see any difference to what we started with, so it might be an
alternative setting for some people! Can someone that has had problem with the original settings test these, please!
But why reset the negative LOD Bias to 0.0000???????? Back to testing! :D
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
-- Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) ----------------- '-1.0000' //This is to get the text clarity earlier on distant signs. <------I have this and all fine :D :D :D
I m happy that I can leave ingame SMAA disabled.....the NPI settings are much better. :D :D :D :D :D :D

@Tapir
Yes, I tested with -1.0000 too and I got black textures when I used camera 2. Please,
test that you too!
I have now also tested with my Swedish friend, that has the same problem as bogdac,
but these new settings didn't fix that problem, sadly!
EDIT: But the good thing is that we now have 2 equally good alternatives! :D

@Bengan my friend ;) ;)
I got no black textures using camera.
EDIT: is it a problem of grafic card, perhaps ? I have MSI Geforce 1660 Super.

No, in principle I have the same card, ASUS ROG STRIX GeForce GTX 1660 Ti 6GB OC Gaming!
Could be some other setting that is different from yours!

@Tapir
I have tested exactly that one, but also the ones that Road Runner presented recently.
Both work for me splendidly, so I have full control of my environment. Sadly some other
people have problems and we are now searching for a solution for them!
