[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@BenganJ - I've gave my answer as requested.
EDIT: Another Q&A for first post?
At the bottom of this one:
Q - My settings are EXACTLY as your instructions state - STILL NO AA
- OR -
A - Your bezel corrected resolution may be the cause of no AA. Set to native resolution first to check you get AA. If so, then lower bezel corrected values until you see AA working.
Done! //BenganJ

@FormelLMS
When using triple monitors for ATS/ETS2, it's best to NOT use bezel correction in Nvidia Surround. Use the multimon file to correct for the bezels.
If you want the mathematically perfect view, tell me:
If you are referring to my post, it's totally fine if you can't handle it. I know it's math heavy, and will be especially tough if English is not your first language. I will try to keep it simple.FormelLMS wrote: ↑July 10th, 2021, 7:23 pmAll other tricks you showed me before a few weeks I can't handle because it is too much for me. I think I really don't understand those things and I was somewhat happy with my 45 degrees setup (which doesn't display the whole thing absolutely correct on those two sims) but I can't get it better to work...

If you want the mathematically perfect view, tell me:
- The WIDTH of one monitor WITH bezels
- The WIDTH of one screen WITHOUT bezels
- The ANGLE of your side monitors
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Oh wow! This is a nice one. Yes, English is not my native language. So it's indeed a bit hard.
My Monitors with Bezel are 61 cm and without 59.4 cm
For now I'm unfortunately at CA 50 degrees.
In a few weeks I want to go to 45 degrees as I've seen that some games are preferring 45 degrees here (at least I think)

With CA I assume you mean Camera Angle, which is the same as FOV, but
he wants the physical angle between your screens.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Oh this was an unlucky mistake from myself.
CA should mean ca and this is "about" in Germany.
So sorry about that. So my physical angle are 50, but I want go to 45 in a few days

Change the following values.
For 50° Monitor Angle:
Center:
For 45° Monitor Angle:
Center:
Sit so that all monitors are perpendicular to you, and your eye level is at the middle of the monitor.
Let me know if it works for you!
Start with the basic triple monitor file, link here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n5bsjX ... DSQxw-KuAH
Change the following values.
For 50° Monitor Angle:
Center:
- horizontal_fov_override: 48.843378
- horizontal fov_relative_offset: 0.0
- heading_offset: 50.0
- horizontal_fov_override: 48.843378
- horizontal fov_relative_offset: 0.0
- heading_offset: -50.0

For 45° Monitor Angle:
Center:
- horizontal_fov_override: 43.933265
- horizontal fov_relative_offset: 0.0
- heading_offset: 45.0

@FormelLMS
Are you using a Dual or a Triple monitor setup? That's VERY important too!

Now: I have to take two buttons for look left and look right, because it's not safe to yield bliendly :)
But: Thanks again. First time it's great with the triples now.
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hi, for this I’ve bought now an 4 inch vocore screen. This would be put in front of the screen.JHTrucker wrote: ↑June 22nd, 2021, 1:47 am@FormelLMS
EDIT: Do you use head tracking or just mouse/keys to look around?
Just a thought, if you use mouse/keys then you could have a lower FOV and therefore lose sight of the dash but with a modded controls.sii file you could have a key that instantly looks down to the dash level and back to normal when you let go of the key, no messing with the mouse.
For the button thing: I would need buttons to look left/right. Best is to press the button to look to the side and release would look to the front again. Is that something, your controls.sii could do?
Or I will try to do something with autohotkey. Did something like that with autohotkey for my handbrake.
