@danilozxf

There's NO stupid questions. But if you read the above, the wording is from and that holds until next from.
So your combination would work.

Hi BenganJ

I have just finished applying the NPI graphics treatment to ETS2 & ATS up to stages 1-3, plus some extra detail such as draw distance for traffic, parked vehicles and pedestrians and mirror view distance to 500. All I can say is despite of my uncertainty the whole process was simple and easy to follow. I made back ups of both config files and save both NPI profiles.
Thank you and everyone else involved in this detailed work which has transformed the visual appearance and performance of ATS and ETS2 to another level.
My advise to anyone that has found there way here in search of better graphics is to go for it, take your time follow the instructions to the letter and you will be fine.

Thanks again

@MercDriver

Well, I've said it before, but I'm definitely NOT alone in this, both Road Runner and especially JHTrucker
have made the job possible. Thank you for the kind words, they are really warming!

Hey,

Thanks for the great graphic tweaks, realy enjoying the AA provided with those settings. I have a question about the shadows tho.. The shadows have realy but realy angular edges. Is there some settings to fix this from ocurring? Image of the edges below :)

Hello. Who knows, maybe there is some value to change so that the ladders in the navigator disappear? For example, as with the command for the game menu (uset g_menu_aa_limit "0")

@MarkGDK

Please, can you go back to that place and there hit F11, then click on REPORT button.
After that you post here the last line in the file bugs.txt which you find where you have
config.cfg file? Also, can you list all the shadow parameters you have in config.cfg with
the values you have set presently?

EDIT: On which map is the place located?

@MarkGDK - Assuming you are using ultra shadows. Do you also have uset r_anisotropy_factor "1" & uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" ?

@Facepаlm - The gps and on screen gps & world map etc are part of the overlay, i think, and that doesn't get AA applied... yet, if ever.

@BenganJ
It's in the official ETS2 map in Barcelona at the company RTLOG. I'm getting it pretty much everywhere, not only that specific location.
For example, i also get it on truck shadows, guard rails ect. I just did the report at that same location.
This is the line printed into the bugs.txt: ;[04/05/2021 13:53:18] (sec-0010+0011);-38201.5;17.0735;47695.8;-1.2953;-0.157083

I'm running a Nvidia RTX 2080 Super.

Shadow parameters from the config file:
uset r_cloud_shadows "1"
uset r_fake_shadows "2"
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size "8192" (was 4xxx before)
uset r_sun_shadow_quality "4"

@JHTrucker
r_anisotropy_factor was indeed set to "1".
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size was set to a number in the 4000's. I changed that to "8192" and it's ALOT better now. Still some ruff edge tho, can i increase this number even more?
Image below how it looks like now.

@MarkGDK

Okay, so you already got it more or less fixed. One of the parameters that have most impact is
uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size, so changing it from "4096" to "8192" does a pretty good job.
You can raise it to "16384" and see if that will satisfy you, but as usual, you will have to pay for
higher accuracy with lower FPS.

Increased uset r_sun_shadow_texture_size to "16384" and it looks great now!
Alsno not getting any frame drops below the 60 i locked it at, so it's all good.

Thanks alot @BenganJ and @JHTrucker
