[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@toni1958 - As long as the head tracking device you use uses the in game trackir inputs, then it'll work just fine. Once the novelty of 4xAA and maxed gfx has worn off... i'll help you in the other thread to get it working.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hi, I'm new to this "mod" I did everything on the guide, I have some questions/issues: My map (roads on map) isn't smooth as before they look snappy, and I have lots of bloom effects. Have i done something wrong?

@Steeld
Hi and welcome! Well, we can't tell if you have done anything wrong as you haven't given
ANY information to on. So, I suggest that start by posting your latest game log and also
take as many screenshots as to cover all the settings in NPI. Then we might be able to
see what is wrong!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
PLEASE! Don't paste directly into the post. ZIP the game log and attach it or even better
upload it to a service like pastebin.com and post a link to it in your post! //BenganJ (Moderator)

@Steeld
Well, on a fast look I can't see any obvious errors in the configurations,
so can you in any way illustrate your problem? Do you get proper AA?
Have you hit the Apply changes button in NPI? Have you got the correct
multimon_config.sii file and placed it in the correct position?

Telling me what? Do you see any problem there? I don't! And to see if you've got
proper AA, you would have to make a video and drive past some power lines
and also some light poles!

@Steeld - "My map (roads on map) isn't smooth as before they look snappy, and I have lots of bloom effects. Have i done something wrong?"
Strange description, and that's coming from me, do you mean roads too embossed like gravel looking?
If so reduce sharpening and/or reduce -LOD from -1.00 to -0.50?
Or perhaps you mean the world map roads are jagged now? If so then that's because we need to remove the menu screens from having AA applied to them. The driving screen is the most important one.
Pics look ok to me but too much bloom is fixed by this:
config.cfg - uset g_bloom "1.0" <--- disable 0.0 for no bloom or 0.5 etc for reduced effect.
The above bloom isn't related to using NPI AA.
