Dark mirrors after update 1.40

Post by danilozxf » April 5th, 2021, 11:29 pm

Guys does anyone know if there is a fix to fix the darkness of the mirrors in some trucks?

After upgrading to 1.40 it became a mess

Here is a picture of the problem with Scania T

@danilozxf

Well, some people report too damn high brightness in the mirrors,
while you report the opposite. That says some about how good
this version is. I haven't the slightest idea why it is like that, but
one thought is that the trucks need to be updated, as long as it
is modded trucks.

But this is exactly what happens with BenganJ, sometimes there is a strong glow in the mirrors, but there are times when it gets dark, at night it is almost impossible to see.

The biggest problem is that many of these trucks were abandoned by their modders, exemple as the Scania RJL from Steam's workshop.

I don't blame them...after the FMOD fuckfest...now another pill to swallow. And 1.40 screwing the lights is one thing, but i am gonna bet they have screwed the sounds...AGAIN. Mappers will come soon.

When Pawel will understand this game will be dust and bones without modders....is gonna be too late. If he thinks SCS can keep players interest with their lame paints and one DLC in 18 months....
Not to say if a strong company will enter the market with a similar simulator....

ETS2 for me without mods is a 7 note game
ETS2 with mods is a 9 score game, I just don't score 10 because of its obsolete engine that only uses 1 CPU core, causing frames to drop in cities.

Modders bring ETS2 to life, but as long as there is no rival at the height, scs will be doing that kind of thing.
