That's good to hear! My BGs include a certain parameter setting to avoid crashing when
opening the map, but mind you if you build a HUGE combo map, e.g. including EAA
AND/OR ROS then you might have to choose one of the three Ultimate BGs, as those
also can use an extra Crash Fix for those combos! ENJOY THE GAME!

I am using promod, rus map, SRMap and great steepe and your BGs work perfectly fine..no issue now I will back to our original post and will discuss the FPS drop...

When i want to buy any kind of double trailer i got CTD.
When i buy "normal" trailer it is OK.
Has anyone experienced this stupid crash to desktop ?

Hi. I have ets 2 1.40 with promods 2.52 and these mods with this load order. They were working fine for about a month until today when the game started crashing at a specific point east of Lubin in Hungary. What might be the problem?

I can also confirm that he's using a pirated version

Crash happened in many circumstances, from a recent ets2 update, around Debrecen ;
The following gamelog is with a "simple" promods map combo (PM255 + ROEX 265), but it also happened in other config ;
- roes 265 or 295 (+ promods + RC + many maps)
- roes 265 or 295 (+ recent RC Roex/Promods/Rusmap/Poland R25)
(tested with map mods only + sat bg | empty mod folder, just a few inactive workshop mods)

The gamelog error is always the same
- <ERROR> [model] Unknown look name 'hw_def_it(number)' on model '/prefab/land_2/2y_t_small_1awith and withoutmirror.pnd

Ok, issue comes from "index outside array boundaries"

So, in "my" case :
As I'm not using any other mod than "map files", this does not concern me :

(...) This are general things. The real solution is individual. REPET: INDIVIDUAL!
you can clean your mod folder by your taste. If a mod with 500 AI trucks is more important to you versus a map, remove the map. Or other way around. But keeping a soup of companies, trailers, trucks, cars, maps, graphics and all the mods you can find online, is on you.
If you crash and your game log say:

don't ask for help. Nobody can clean your mod folder other than you. Good Luck

- Promods
- Roex (free or paid mod) + Roex RC to Promods (or recent RC Roex-Promods-Rusmap-Poland),
Should I understand the right explanation is :

Most important is to select your mods. The maps are mostly the same, some are optimized in general but some are not. Despite the fact you want to travel all over the globe, some selection must be made. Is not up to me to point what maps are good or bad. We all know something about everything.

To resume, I (many players already, in fact) cannot play Promods and Roex (+RC Roex-Promods) anymore ?
