Btw. The most fucked up Loco is the Siemens Vectron. No side windows for me. Sitting in a dark depressed room.

It's a really advanced, modern and fast locomotive, completely on display control (No more searching for signals! Yay!) but the lack of missing side windows pisses me off.

The reason is so that you won't sit and look to the sides all the time and crash
right into something ahead of you! Be grateful, mate! :D

On modern trains you don't need windows at all. Anything you need is on a display in front of you. Especially at speeds higher than 160kph it's not even possible to spot signals at all. Compared to many animals, human eyes suck ass. But tbh I need side windows for the sun lighting. I don't like my workplace dark. That's why I prefer locos like the V100 where you got a 360 degrees all round view. But they are only used for wagon repositioning and education only.
