[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@JHTrucker. was never expecting 60fps with 4x AA and triples 1080's. was expecting at least 30 fps but for a 1070 that is pretty hard.
wow tah foxman has a good pc. but to bad the game doesn't use it's full potential from a setup like that. with 2x aa i get more than 37 fps so i had set my vsync mode to 2 since i have a 75hz screen. is doable

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
What is it ? Before the update to 1.40 this was not the case!
There are no graphical mods, except for the nvidia Profile Inspector settings, as recommended.
I repeat that at 1.39 this was not the case!

@SMN
Did you let the 1.40 game version create a new Euro Truck Simulator 2 structure under Documents?
If so, you have to copy the 2 files config.cfg AND multimon_config.sii from the 1.39 structure!
EDIT: Or are you not using this mod from Arayas, Universal light fix for maps [1.40]?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Hi! I've been trying to get this thing to work for two hours, but nothing I do actually enables the NPI profile in game! I've removed the config file, and reset it many times, as well as resetting and reapplying my NPI settings.
I have added the multimon.config in the same folder as config, and I'm using a single monitor. ("Hermie G"/Documents/Euro Truck Simulator 2/).
The only mod I have installed is Promods (Europe).
I'm on the 1.40 update, using a i5 10400f and a rtx 3070 (with the december gpu driver, 457.51)
I'm super, super, super grateful for all assistance!
This is how my config looks.

@Hermie G
Did you just do the first 3 steps and then tested that you got proper AA?

@BenganJ
Thank you for the quick reply! And yes, I've tried it. BUT, I have now discovered that NPI AA works when I create a new profile and play on the new profile.
Are there any local settings in my main save profile that may be breaking the NPI AA?

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I just updated the version to 1.40.
2 files config.cfg AND multimon_config.sii from the 1.39 I did not touch. Now I have restored these 2 files from the backup version 1.39 - no changes!
I do not use mod from Arayas, Universal light fix for maps,
Screen my mods....
P.S I found post with same problem.. Maybe is this bug 1.40 ?

No, not that I'm aware of! But test further and if you get any problem, just ask!

Well my friend, this problem I don't think is related to this NPI scheme.
Can you please post your game log and also the FULL Mod Manager load
order screenshots!
