[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I found really who cause ETS 2 lagging it's was power management. It's was on high performance and because of this ETS 2 stutter when loading and during gameplay. I put on balanced and no loading stutter anymore and gameplay was smooth without micro lag and missing lod problem is not the cause, but it's was the CPU, who have too many processes due to the power management mode. and another thing, I don't use Naturalux because my computers have only 8gb ram due to the high quality of the skybox but I use project next-gen 2.0 and realistic graphics instead because these two graphics mod don't give lag.
My specs

Thanks for the report, I will check it out! But to get this right, the Power management mode has these 3 main alternatives,
but you use another set of alternatives. Are we talking about the same setting here?
@Road Runner
The same as I had when I COULD reproduce it! :D Actually I CAN do it now to if using that truck. I have even verified that
Eugenes Volvo_FH_FH16_2012_3.1.2 for v1.32 and Volvo_FH_FH16_2012_3.1.3 for v1.33 has the "rain in cabin" too.

@Folks
Down below you see two representations of the compatibilty bits we are using,
first the hexadecimal and then the binary one. I have been experimenting with
lots of combinations but the only valid conclusion I can draw is that the left most
bit, the 8 in the hexadecimal pattern is necessary and is also the one that force
us to set Mirror Quality to Low. As far as I can see all values above the 8, i.e.
(9,A,B,C,D,E,F) is valid too, but I only tested for Mirror Quality and "rain in cabin",
so these values might have other consequences. The worst thing is though, that
to get rid of the "rain in cabin" needs the position where the 8 is, to be lower than
that value, i.e. (0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7), but then we lose the AA totally. This is just a
report, I'm testing more. :D

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Good afternoon. I have long been interested in this topic, when I was dx9. I have no problems with rain. I do not like the texture of the dashboard, it is not clear like yours. Tested with IVECO Schumi and Naturalux

@Necrokilldozerr
Well, without any other things to judge from, it is hard for me to give any help,
so please give me more. Primarily I want screenshots of the FULL settings in NPI
and also of the in game settings in the Graphics TAB! It would be nice to at least
have a screenshot of the dashboard too, or even better a very short video!

@Tapir
Yes, the "rain in cabin" is not in any way mod related, it's
most probably due solely to NPI in some way!

He probably hasn't got the same settings, as he says he has no problem with rain.
That's why I want his full NPI and Graphics game settings!
