This is quite normal. But you are free to use another backgrund mod. ( BTW: most other background mods show blue water.)

Thanks for the reply, I'll ask one more question. I want to use promods+roextended and grand utopia european maps together, but grand utopia european region looks like this, what can i do European Grand Utopia map 1:19

I am using this background (EAA version) with a large combo (1.37) and still getting a zoom crash. Have not had this problem for a long time since detail level fix became known. Confirmed that the file I am using has only 4 levels at full detail. Buffer size = 50. Not sure what else to do since I have been using large combos for a long time and never had the issue and it seems as though any others are using this new 2.8 map with success?

I also have a crash at max zoom with the 2.8EAA version. I didn't have this problem until this background 2.7. (buffer size = 50)

Same here, although the problem only seems to occur if you are using a Promods based combo.

No problem here and i have roex promods rta all the russian maps jrr and the other small maps but no eaa and maghreb.I zoomed in different places on map with no problem.
