I had a time when I played many standalone maps in 1:1, 1:5 or 1:19 scale. But many of these maps are discontinued, and in the end you end up deleting the profile. Even though they keep updating, I find them boring and I spent more than an hour on few of them.

I still keep a few of them, like grandutopia, but the truth is 99% of the time I'm on the basemap and/or compatible addons, like roex, rusmap, ...

Of course I'll take a look when it's released, but in the end I'll go back to the usual base map.

I think the efforts at ROEX will be followed by many more users than this new map.

Well I think it is a good thing not everyone agrees with you.
Of course a 1:1 map is a lot of work, but the quality is often very good.

And driving the same roads on the base map is getting boring in the end

Taste is personal. Unlike other 1:1 maps this is a continuos city. Small spaces, urban traffic, hard deliveries. Off course its easy to make highways after highways, but this is going into exact oposite direction.

Precisely for this reason I prefer the base map to which I am adding and removing complements: (now promods, now EAA, now TGS, Rusmap, Roex, Rta, afromap, ...) with new roads that arrive with each new version.
