Hey all,

I have been having some strange grainy effects on foliage and trees lately with NPI, especially Project Next Gen and Grimes winter mod.
The branches and/or leaves seem to be quite grainy and thus look like they're flickering when you are moving which is driving me nuts.

What setting would this most likely be and can it be adjusted? Thanks!

so I wanted to try DLDSR that was just made available

>Set desktop resolution to new DSR resolution.
do I really have to do this?

>As long as the in game resolution and desktop resolution are kept the same, then there's no problem with game defaulting back to native resolution on each restart despite showing the DSR resolution in graphics settings.
but I want my desktop resolution to be normal

I had no problem like game defaulting back to native resolution

Yes.

以前、私もDSRを使用していましたがデスクトップ解像度はDSR解像度と同じでなければなりません。

nvm I now see the problem
but I don't want to change the desktop resolution so I guess I'll have to change the resolution each time I start the game

I reverted to native resolution every time I finished the game.
Since it is annoying, I have changed from a full HD monitor to a WQHD monitor now.

I couldn't stand the blurriness of the desktop with DLDSR enabled so I tried DisplayMagician to change the desktop resolution only while the game is running and it worked like a charm for me
I think everyone should give it a try

unfortunately not even DLDSR can sort out the game engine made by SCS... back to SGSSAA.
Update - maybe I spoke too soon, after playing for 1 hour it seems the AI powered DLDSR is getting increasingly better.
