@09_KZ

And even more important, the decimal point! :=) That NPI parameter does NOT control
the LOD changes of trees or grass or vegetation. Those changes are controlled in the
file game_data.sii! Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) works on other oblects, like sign
textures e.g., making the text show up clearer at a further distance.

@09_KZ

A better control of the LOD changes for trees, grass and other vegetation you can get by subscribing
to Robinicus mod for it in Steam Workshop here:

Hello! I hope that you will not hit me hard with sticks, because I answered your question about auto-optimization in experience from memory. I meant something else. When I looked at this parameter in real time, it was really turned on.

However, your nerves are really made of Valerian steel to answer everyone every time you try to find the truth. Wish you luck !

Hahahaha, no my friend, at this place you won't be hit hard! Regarding me and support, trying to help,
the fact is that I like that situation. All my working life I gave support in IT-related stuff to users at work.
I'm probably an idiot, but that's how I am and want to be.

@BenganJ
Can this work for American Truck Simulator?
Also, what to do if there's a new graphic driver update? Leave it or do the tweaks again?

@BullCarriage

This scheme works exactly the same in ETS2 and ATS. The same settings, no difference at all.
When upgrading to a new driver or re-installing the same, will eradicate all the NPI settings,
so the recommendation is to EXPORT the NPI settings as soon as they are set. Then after the
driver upgrade it's just a question of IMPORTING those EXPORTED settings into the correct NPI
profile and APPLY CHANGES. Then all is restored again.

@BullCarriage

Please, just hover over the icons with the mouse and they will tell you,
but here's an image for you with the EXPORT icon circled, the IMPORT
one is just to the right of it.

I just want to ask if anyone has been able to make the NPI settings work in VR?
The NPI antialiasing settings from this thread work fine for me when not using VR, but in VR (Pimax 5K+) there is no antialiasing at all. Even the in-game SMAA option doesn't seem to make any difference.
Any suggestions on how to get it to work in VR?
