@t2patel

Please mate, calm down a bit, you feel stressed. Everything is now under control.
We've got a stable, almost constant FPS=36. GOOD! But still, you've got something
all wrong. Preferred Refreshrate: 1/4 is NOT a valid setting and you know it now.
The setting for that parameter should be Use 3D apllication setting. PERIOD! One
thing, set Vertical Sync Tear Control to Adaptive, as it will give smoother FPS changes.

Regarding blurred distant objects, raise Negative LOD Bias to -2.0000 instead of -1.5000 and
also raise Image sharpening in NCP from 0.40 to some higher value you find the best.

The "too bright from the cockpit" problem we all suffer from and is due to this FANTASTIC,
NOT, new lighting system introduced in 1.40. Try lower Brightness slider a bit in game or
set r_gamma in config.cfg to e.g. 0.85-0.90!

One more thing, set your Steam Launch Options to the following, just copy/paste:

Code: Select all

-64bit -nointro -unlimitedlog  -mm_pool_size 16384 -mm_max_resource_size 32 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000
The reason I told you to change the setting for the parameter Preferred Refreshrate
from Highest available to Use 3D application setting is that it would conflict with
the Vertical Sync setting of 1/4 Refresh Rate. You actually asked the driver to, on
the one hand keep a constant FPS=36 and at the same time give you highest possible
FPS. THAT'S A CONFLICT, hence the rubber banding!

EDIT: Also, ALWAYS test, when I ask you do that, on an EMPTY profile!

Sorry, I had unexpected Guest at home.

You are right Grandpa, I feel stressed now.

Again, I did a mistake.

Now I have set Preferred Refreshrate : Use the 3D application setting.

Please confirm the parameter for vsync

1. Vertical Sync: 1/4 Refresh Rate
2. Vertical Sync Tear Control: Adaptive

Please note all testing I am doing in new profile..there is no mod & map

The choppy screen issue is there when applied above setting.

Mate, this is starting to get a bit annoying. I've told you before that I do NOT want you to record all your
settings from the desktop. I trust that you read what I write, do as I ask you to do. I ONLY want the video
when you are driving! No, I can't see any FPS counter, so are you sure you have configured in Shadowplay
to display the FPS counter on the screen with BIG size? I do NOT want the one from Steam.

EDIT: Start the recording from within the game!

@t2patel

It's NOT Geforce Experience you record with, it's Shadowplay. Geforce Experience is only
a tool collecting quite a few functions into one placeholder, including the recording one
called Shadowplay!
