Just an fyi, Robinicus has a mod in the workshop called Vegetation LOD Improvement https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/ ... earchtext= that edits the game_data.sii file. The description says that it uses the values mentioned in this thread. It works but it's a hit to the fps.
If I did the link wrong it's in the Graphic section of the workshop

@Strega
Well, I was pretty active on the SCS forum in the time when the games used DX9, so
I published that info already then. Here on the forum I started with a topic for DX9
and you might find that info there too. I sort of compiled the NPI info we had at the
time when this forum was started and I became a moderator here.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I played the game yesterday in ETS2 1.34 on DX9.
I must confess the game looked pretty good in those days.
6 versions later I don't have the feeling everything has improved

Out of curiosity, do you use this scheme and even more interesting, did you use
settings from the DX9 topic here when running 1.34 under DX9? Back then we had
totally different compatibility bit pattern than under DX11.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Yes when I play 1.34 I still use the NPI settings from here:
viewtopic.php?f=23&t=93
I first clear my ETS2 NPI Settings and Apply and then load the settings I need and Apply. I have NPI settings for DX9 and NPI settings for DX11
That is also the reason why I am not updating my Nvidia Driver. I am still using NPI version 2.3.0.10.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Thanks
I learned it from the master;
The only thing I really run into is that the game is way too bright for me now in version 1.40. I am working on some adjustments on the advice of JH_truker. But I'm not satisfied yet.
It has to do with my monitor I think.
