[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@Dido
CONGRATS! You've created your first mod and ALL looks damn good.
Now in your game profile, place that .scs mod as high as possible,
but below any background BG. Test if it fixed the problem with the
tress and grass changes!

That's the one! I still can't explain why you don't get a steady FPS=30, but let's test this instead.
1. You have AO Enabled in NPI section 5 Common, make that Disabled, as it won't work with this AA scheme.
2. in NPI set Vertical Sync in section 2 to Use the 3D application setting.
3. In config.cfg set r_vsync "2" trying to get the same effect via the game instead.
As usual, do changes with game NOT running, in NPI Apply changes and then start the game,
record a short video with Shadowplay FPS counter on screen!

I followed your recommendations. When I set r_vsync in config file to 2, the game starts to become very laggy and and I only have 30 FPS when I'm supposed to have 60. Vertical synchronization in game is set to Economic (Saves energy on notebooks). However, the good thing is that my FPS is now at a constant 30 FPS.

That's exactly what is supposed to happen, apart from the laggy behavior. r_vsync "2"
means to run at HALF the monitor refresh rate, i.e. 60/2=30! Please, record a short
video with Shadowplay and set the bitrate to 15Mbits/s, default is usually 50Mbits/s!
