Okay so this game_data.sii file is in the def file but apperantly i need a decoder in order to access it. Is there a tutorial on how to do that?

@Dido

No, sadly many mapping teams and mappers encrypt their mods. I know how to
handle that, but what I can recommend you to do is to take the SCS original
game_data.sii, modify it and make a mod with /def/game_data.sii as the only
content. To get the SCS original, you have to unpack the def.scs which you will
find where the game is installed. To do that you need to download scs_extractor.exe
from here: https://modding.scssoft.com/wiki/Docume ... r#Download
The finished mod you have to place as high as possible in the profile, but below
the background mod you use.

EDIT: Sorry, it should be def.scs, NOT base.scs!

Okay, so what i basically did was I opened the def.scs with the extractor you gave me and then found game.sii and edited it but from then on what do I do? How do I make it a single mod? I reckon you mean as a .scs file that will be placed in the mods folder.

@Dido

STOP, the file name to edit is game_data.sii which after editing you place in a def folder in
order to get the path /def/game_data.sii. Then you just ZIP that def folder and name the
mod whatever you like, but let the extension be .scs, NOT .zip!

@BenganJ

Not to interpret your conversation with Dido, but it'll be about another 2 hours before I can post my gams.log file. While your waiting for that, can you take a look at my NPI and NCP settings and see how they look or if I need to make any changes? Thanks.

@Dido

No problem mate. Now create a def folder at some other place and place that edited game_data.sii file in it,
then ZIP the def folder into a mod, which you name whatever you like and then change .zip to .scs. If you want
you can attach that mod to your next post, so that I can take a look at it, but it's your choice!
