[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)

@JHTrucker
Just a thought in this situation. Would it be worth chasing another compatibility bits pattern?

Hm, i dont remember any difference about the blur when i played without npi. I dont blame SCS for this, i blame them for changing to another lightning system that improves some things, but makes everything else worst.black-coffee wrote: ↑April 12th, 2021, 8:38 pmI hope you guys are aware the blurring is present ONLY with this AA and not really a thing without it, the new lighting in combination with this AA has increased the blurring, although for most part it still looks playable to me at least. Maybe there is some tinkering possible with the "uset r_texture_detail" setting... Not that I want to play "devils advocate" but we can't really blame SCS for the fact they made a change which isn't compatible with this AA, just saying...
They wasted probably a lot of time to do it (i guess) that could have been invested on actually improving the game engine, not adding another useless half-baked feature that again, wasnt necessary and only made things worst.
Specially when nobody asked for a new lightning system...
I did find out that the sharpening filter of the nvidia control panel actually works. BUT, it really does not improve the visibility of the signs too much. And also, it makes some skyboxes to appear too pixelated.
So i deactivated it. One way or another, we are screwed lol.
Windows 10 xxxx.xxx whatever is the last version... lol.

Will these settings work with ProjectNG?

These NPI settings will work with ANY mod there is out there, including ALL graphic ones.
They are basic game settings mostly in the graphics driver.

Ok thanks! I know Project ng is one of those mods where it will put some really high textures and graphics. I bet when grimes mods, project ng and the nvidia profile inspector tweaks are all ran together, it will look just like real life.

Well, which version of ProjectNG are you using?

That's a pretty old one now, from the time when it was a free mod. Damian has made his
mod a paid one, so he can't have it on the SCS forum any more.
EDIT: The last time he updated the topic on SCS forum was 27 Nov 2019!

Oh is that so? Well, that's a bummer. Do you think version 2.0 will still work with 1.40?

You'll have to test that yourself, but there might be textures not in the game any more.
