Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Does someone else experience frequent FPS drops to exactly 30 FPS, in my case from 60 to 30 FPS? I wonder is it the new 1.40 that is buggy or are some mods to blame although I don't have any abnormal warnings in the console...

@tantalus
Please, read note [4] in the first post, where there's also a link for more info.
The trick is to set the Desktop resolution to the DSR one and using it also in game,
then you won't lose the AA, as then the 100% is in function again.

I've tested to change the bloom parameters in config.cfg, but I can't see any changes.
I also tested to change the gamma value, which at least gives some changes, but my
overall feeling looking at the graphics in 1.40 is that SCS has a too high light intensity,
giving washed out colors AND to me the image is heavily blurred in comparison with
what we had in 1.39. What do you think, could the color parameters be used here?
Any chance of compensating with these, at least the high intensity and washed out
colors. The blurring is another thing!
On top of this, we've lost a proper lighting of the dashboard and we can't see any
changes of the headlights off/on from within the cabin. BAH!

Code: Select all
uset r_color_saturation "1.0"
uset r_color_yellow_blue "0.0"
uset r_color_magenta_green "0.0"
uset r_color_cyan_red "0.0"

There have been a lot of comments on a lot of threads lately, so thanks for all your hard work.
The NPI settings work fine in 1.40, but when it comes to colour adjustments it rarely works. It is possible to reduce the light source a bit, but the dash panel and instrument panel will be blacked out, so you need to swing the freestyle shadows to a very negative value.
It's difficult to get close to the graphics of 1.39 at the moment.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
So i can't tell you what exactly is effected by Bloom now but in general for what its worth its still working. Its just not effecting the overall bloom if that makes sense. So the Signs on the roads where shining really bad at night with lights and worth with brights on, I set Bloom to 0.2(my normal go to if i don't use any graphics modification) and the Signs look normal again. But like you said it doesn't change the dashboard bloom at all.
The Nvida Freestyle Filters are really effected by this what looked good before is now really bad. You got the darker settings that are now way to dark and then you have the really light settings that make everything shine to much. The only good on i found so far that really make's a difference is the one from Koolizz for ATS(using it in ETS), doesn't change the bad shit SCS did but makes it overall looking better. There is no way around a good Graphics mod that tones stuff down.

Thank you.
But the bloom is set to 0 than before.
I'll try the mod you suggested over the weekend and see what happens.
correction
Try your suggested preset.

Standard Bloom is set to 1, you can take it to 0 without a Problem but there want we allot of changes. I will put the link to Koolitz Nvidia Freestyle Filter settings in the Nvidia Freestyle Topic.
