[DX9] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI) [CLOSED]
Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
For me, this setting works: 0x084012C1
I have a GTX 1070 graphics card and a monitor without G-SYNC. Thanks a lot, BenganJ :)

@Bozo
Okay my friend, but have you tried my preferred bit pattern value 0x404012C1?
If so, didn't it work? The value of your choice demands that you also set in your
config.cfg file the parameter r_texture_detail to "-1", otherwise you will loose text
on signs. According to Max at SCS that setting is unsupported and can cause other
problems.
EDIT: Information about this has been added to the first post!

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
For the first attempt I used, of course, the first pattern AA 0x404012C1. The effect - none.
Then I used 0x084012C1 - everything looks nice in the game.
P.s. 'Frame Rate Limiter' are set to "60" and 'SILK Smoothness' to "4". The GTX 1070 can handle these settings.

Thank you for that really good info, I'll put it up in the first post here!
I'm glad it worked out good for you! :D :D :D

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Just wondering Bengan, in my case would it worthwhile trying the bit pattern used by Bozo?
Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
@bogdac
YES, this was the next thing I thought I'd ask you to do. Note that I have
listed most of the valid bit patterns I know in the first post Note 1. Test
them all until you eventually find one that works.

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
New settings applied @BenganJ.
Not sure I actually can see the difference, admittedly after only driving around for a few minutes, but I bet you will have opinions tonight ;)
Any settings recommended to kill the blooming? Im growing very tired of that issue!

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Well, i still have to play with x2 or x4 values but now it looks better than the one seen in my last video, and sience my RAM was upgraded i dont see lags anymore.
I'm Keeping my settings more towards "performance" than quality so no perfect image is expected. I rather see bad lines than have stuttering.
I dont use HDR and i dont have Bloom problem. I use reshade to bring more clarity to the game instead of HDR (wich i bet is bad as game antialiasing).

@Wombat Trucker
First off, I'm not sure you need ALL of the "new" settings. They are documented there IF you aren't
satisfied with the base settings from your own video. I would say that you should limit your added
settings to the following ones, as you have a pretty potent GPU.
all the mods out there saying they can take care of that? Also, isn't there a in-built parameter in
the game to adjust that? I've been watching your videos and I must admit, I have no problem with
your graphics, except that I think you should use the following 3 mods to enhance it i any combo.
ENJOY! See ya later today mate.

The other ones you can skip! Honestly, what problem do you have with blooming? And what about'Maximum pre-rendered frames' ....................... '6' //A sort of smoothing function. Values recommended, 1-6.
'Antialiasing - Gamma correction' ..................... 'On' //Introduces gamma correction for MSAA.
'Antialiasing - Line gamma' ............................. 'Enabled' //Same as above, but especially for thin lines, e.g. electric power lines in air.
Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX) ...................... '-1.0000' //This together with the following parameter will render text on distant signs earlier.
Texture filtering . Negative LOD bias ................ 'Allow' //Makes the above function enabled.
'Ambient Occlusion setting' ............................ 'Quality' //The quality of ambient light generated shadows.
'Ambient Occlusion usage' ............................. 'Enabled' //Enabling the previous function.
'SILK Smoothness' ....................................... '0x00000003' //Reduces micro-stuttering due to high workload on CPU and/or GPU.

The should be added right beneath the background and zoom mods in the order shown.NEXT-GEN Base by DamianSW
