Sites with stolen content - don't support these ones!
Re: Sites with stolen content - don't support these ones!
Fiju is the idiot on Sharemods.
Re: Sites with stolen content - don't support these ones!
Same as you nailed yesterday? That idiot even split the archive into it's separate mods
and uploaded them all, thereby trying to earn as much as possible! DAMN IT!

modhub.us is a site that also often contains stolen mods for ATS, ETS2, and FS games.

How did you manage to report? If I enter the EUROPOL website (https://www.europol.europa.eu/report-a-crime/report-cybercrime-online) and select Romania, it redirects me to https://www.politiaromana.ro/ro/petitii-online ...Arayas wrote: ↑July 30th, 2020, 12:30 amA short update:
The spanish idiot (dattinamossa) uploaded our map wherever he could, in many locations.
Also he loaded the map on his site. On his site we discovered pirated ETS2 and ATS games and DLC's and we notified SCS Software also.
We notified YouTube, Sharemods, Modsfile, Facebook, Groz, Webnode.es, Cloudflare and Tucows Inc. because all his activity on this channels are related just to piracy.
And sience he raised the ball for us, we did a EUROPOL notification to Cybercrime Division, because he is a residend of EU.
I did something wrong? (I ask because I know a few people who published my map without my consent.)

The report was made to Guardia Civil because the site is from Spain. I will not use that in your place because your copyright disclaimer or EULA is not public in a dedicated place as a site on your own, registered to legaly host your mods. "i didnt know" is a simple explanation for the uploader.Stefan E. wrote: ↑July 30th, 2020, 4:30 pmHow did you manage to report? You can do what i did before this site, and that is to report links to Sharemods or other uploading sites, who are very sensitive to this because they pay the upload.

Re: Sites with stolen content - don't support these ones!
What websites are legit for finding good mods, without worrying they are stolen?
Re: Sites with stolen content - don't support these ones!
Main site for that is the SCS forum. Many respectable mods have a creator topic there.

@Psycho_Yuri
As a general rule, download from the mods original site or topic
and avoid filesites as much as possible. Also, try to find out who
uploaded the mod and if it doesn't seem to be genuine, SKIP IT!
