@FormelLMS

I bought the same monitor and as it has a curvature of 1000R the optimum
distance to have your eyes is 1000 mm = 100 cm = 1 m from the screen surface,
so NOT nearer, you should sit further away from, 40 cm to be exact.

It might be a good idea to test the multimon_config.sii file for a triple
monitor setup, it has an inherent config for a curved monitor structure! Come
to think about it, a single setup file with a configured single flat screen isn't a
good choice at all!

@joanot10

Welcome to you too! Yes, every time you upgrade your Nvidia driver, you have to
set the NPI parameters again. That's why we recommend you to EXPORT the settings
when you have set them the first time, so that when the upgrade is done, you just
have to IMPORT the settings again. DONE! Every driver upgrade will RESET the settings!

@BenganJ & JHTrucker

ATS Game log

ETS2 Game log

Please find attached the game logs for both ATS & ETS2. I have done two 4 hour deliveries with each game and these are the results, I hope you can view as I have not used pastebin before.

Game versions ATS 1.39.3.13
ETS2 1.39.2.1

ETS2 had about 10 single stutters/momentary freezes thought out the 2 journeys.
ATS did not stutter or miss a beat at all and game seemed to flow much smoother with power lines looking slightly better.
Both games are running on same NPI/NCP and in game settings.
The sound in both games has be going very low today but as soon as I pickup another trailer or have a rest, the sound comes back for a while.

@JHTrucker

I have put all the cores on game over lay.
ETS2:- core 1 runs mid 30's to high 40's with the occasional low 50's but never went above 58. When at stutter/freeze occurs the core % does not change drastically, nor does the GPU %, only the FPS which drops to around 23-23.
ATS:- core 1 runs anywhere between 30 and 70 but never exceeding 70. No stutters etc.

I have tried your suggestions with FOV and mirrors for ETS2
With drivers(left) mirrors at left of centre screen the diesel tank and rear wheel arch is still missing with FOV of 76. If I move seat forward so that mirrors are in left screen the bits are still missing but if I put seat back and change FOV so mirrors are in left screen then the whole of the truck is there. I cannot drive with it like that because I have totally lost the right mirrors, door window etc in the right screen as the front windscreen now stretches all the way across.
I am using exactly the same seat and FOV in ATS with no loss of bits of truck.

I haven't reinstalled GPU driver yet as I thought I would do some more testing so I could give you a better idea of symptoms.

JHTrucker, I can understand where you are coming from with regards to game and mods, my friend plays Sims4 and has spent a fortune on addons and expansion packs and I introduced her to the world of mods this week and she is saying "why don't the game people do these things", some of which are simple enough, her attitude now is that she won't buy anymore stuff coz all they are doing is sitting on their ar**s and taking money.

I am not in Tier 4 yet, but I can see it coming very shortly, all my friends down south are now under lockdown again so I got nowhere to run even if I did want to make a dash for it :-)

@toni1958

Just take as many screenshots of NPI it takes to show all content and
post them.

@ BenganJ & JHTrucker

Update
Have done some more testing tonight and have got ETS2 running a lot smoother even though I am still getting the occasional hiccup, but I can live with that.
After changing the "Texture filtering - LOD Bias (DX)" from -2.5000 to -1.0000 it made quite a bit of difference and low and behold, the side of my truck reappeared in the left mirror. I have also been able to set mirror distance to 200, LOD factor parked and also LOD factor traffic to 3.
I was following your instructions for changing the /def/leaves_lod_config.sui and downloaded a copy of the "sound fix mod" as my existing one is in steam and I wasn't sure how to access the text. I opened the downloaded file and amended the lines as per your post but when I went into the game, the mod is grey with no picture whereas the steam one(which I am not using just now) has a picture. I loaded it anyway and it seem to stop the trees etc being rendered in the distance. I since read in the mod text that I should not modify it in anyway and must create a new file in the directory. Is that what I need to do or was just editing the existing text correct?
I thought I could edit that one and load and then load the steam one for the sounds too but I guess I am wrong, could you briefly explain to me where and how I create a new entry please, is it just a case of putting @include "/def/leaves_lod_config.sui" or do I have to create a new mod? I don't know how to do that :-(
Thank you for your help

@toni1958

Please, read the instructions carefully before starting to modify, or amend as you call it,
mods! The beauty with the SoundFixes pack and changing the LODs in that mod, is that
you create your own mod with just those changes you want, hence "/def/leaves_lod_config.sui",
which is a tiny little part of another file in the system called game_data.sii! When the mod
is ready, you place it right above the Sound Fixes Pack in Mod Manager!

Here are my NPI settings, same for both games, I have also tried both "Ambient Occlusion compatibility" settings.

Ah, so in a roundabout way I had done it correctly :-) and could just add the soundfixes underneath, thank you
Having a nightmare with screenshots, one second please
