The map will have many "attention check" points, the signage on that bridge is not excesive just to see you react.
As i was using my "random events" before people were aware of them (first one was near Kiev, i think) i will have some more hot potatoes on the road, a horse, a rock, a pipe...

)The cave...we have many salt caves like that here, some still active, some just tourists destinations, with restaurants and so on.
True, IRL those are operated by special vehicles, mostly electric now, but in the past were operated by normal vehicles, based on luck and some good engineering.
So...why not?
