After my second post had been approved and published I succeeded to download the fix. I was testing the fix with both vanilla map and map combo I used to drive - it works fine!
Viewpoints' icons are back on the map - you've returned it.

It all depends on the fact that SCS changed display properties for the World Map in 1.39.
The same BGs worked properly regarding viewpoints in 1.38! The fix will be included in
the BGs in their next version! But, ENJOY already now!

you are quite right! Everyting was working just fine on game version 1.38. After update to 1.39 viewpoints' icons disappeared. I thought firstly that my map combo causes disappearance of the icons.
But, after I disabled all maps, the icons were still hidden. I thought: "what the hell?" and tried to disable the BG - icons returned. Then I tried another BG - the same situation. After my tests I decided to write here and ask you for help. And you has kindly helped me so fast! Thank you once more!

I made the same fix for Viewpoints. Then I decided to look in this forum. In the future maybe I will look in this forum first before making my own fix. Anyway, I think it is a good idea to have a link in the first post that links to this fix, as a lot of users might have no clue why the Viewpoints are not visible when using one of your background mods.

Yes, you're right! As a matter of fact, I had hoped that I already had got the time
to update all of my combo based BGs with this fix, but the time has not been there.

EDIT: It will probably be needed in ETS2 soon too!

Your question regarding viewpoints in ets2 : Yes, now there is one I`ve found in the new PR.

Where is that damn thing located? Can you show a picture with it?

@Bengan: Do you see the cam symbol eastern of Gydnia ? There is the viewpoint ( only the one of PR)
