Just a first quick test. I loaded your maptest.scs into the game, got a first quick-job
to villeb, but instead I drove to villed, got onto the ferry to villec and at that time I
lost the GPS route connection to the villeb delivery point, as you can see on the image.


So, something is wrong in the definitions, what I don't know right now, so I will go on
trying to pin down the cause of the problem! I'll be back!

Next I loaded the maptest map into the Editor, checked the country assignment on all objects,
prefabs, road segments, road prefabs, ferry points and city limit rectangles and all but the last
2 had it set. I also checked the connections between all objects, couldn't find any problematic
ones at all. The ferry definitions looked correct to me too. So, this won't get me any headache,
but it is certainly odd, I can admit!

Can the fact that the ferry points are missing country settings break the GPS route calculations
between the "mainland" and the "island"? This is not a question of regular ports, just the ferry
activation point!

Ferry is activated by city, cities by countries.
IDK what is the problem, for now we are dealing with words and pictures. Maybe setted companies are incompatible as cargo with other options. A test profile if its new you dont have many options because of skills (ADR...long distance and so on)
I dont see here a GPS test, place the truck on a company from the island and choose as destination a company from mainland. If the GPS doesnt know how to route you, again connection/definitions problem. If it does, all fine, just economy problems.

My latest picture is a GPS route test, being on the "island" with an ongoing delivery from villea to villeb
and all you see is that the route is Calculating, but is never found! He attached a mod for the maptest
map, DL if you want to check it out yourself!

I'm talking about a not-delivery route, a free ride. Than with closest GPS points you can see where the GPS doesnt wants to go further

The problem is that there are just ONE road segment between the cities.
I did check the connectivity on all places and I couldn't find any weak point.
That's why I asked the question about the ferry points, not being REAL ports,
if non country setting could be the break point!

PROBLEM SOLVED!

You got this problem because you placed the ferry points on a road segment,
where it can't be flagged as a ferry entrance, but that can a prefab be! So, I
just moved the ferry points onto the nearby road prefab, flagged them both
as a ferry entrance and BINGO, there we had a full GPS route possibility
over all cities and companies. Then I also got job to the company GNT on the
island city villec, as you can see here!


So, lesson learned! Always place FERRY POINTS on PREFABS if not
using ready made port prefabs,
