@bartofer

Yes of course it is! SCS has it's standard background in the Editor, but I have created
a lot of backgrounds for areas that SCS doesn't cover!

Nice! Work on then! :taunt:
Hey Bengan, it's me again.

Since the new 1.39 release I struggle to get back on the editor. If I don't use the launch options you suggested the editor opens but fails to load the background. If I use the launch options the editor opens but instantly exits. I really need help and I thought you might be the person to ask for advice together with Arayas.

These are the complete launch options commands I use -edit tavico -force_mods -64bit -unlimitedlog -conversion_dump_path d:\convert -noworkshop -mm_max_resource_size 100 -mm_max_tmp_buffers_size 1000

p.s. I have updated the def and base.scs files together with all other map dlc's and updated my def/editor data file on my mod.

@Octavian101

The error reported in the crash has to do with some truck file. Check that out first of all, that might be the reason
for the crash now. If you get that fixed and the Editor still crashes come back here!

Code: Select all

Failed to load model descriptor (.pmd) or model geometry (.pmg) for '/vehicle/ai/focus_2009/lod.pmg'.
EDIT: You should also edit this line in your edit_data.sii file as Arayas pointed out!

Code: Select all

startpos_model: "/vehicle/ai/focus_2009/lod.pmd"

I do not use any mod for my map, only default assets. I have verified the file integrity and everything checks out fine. I have updated my files and the documents' folder has full access to modify files.

As much as I know that is the car used in the game editor when you select the "place start" which I have never touched.

Thank you for your help, I hope to find a fix soon :boredom:

Right, but that car has changed in the SCS files, that's why you have to edit your
editor_data.sii file as I and Arayas pointed out!!!!!!!!!
