Sorry can't check the videos as I deleted them both soon after. When I mentioned the Autosave I was referring to the ETS2 autosave. It's just that the second video seemed to start soon after the saving game message appeared in the top left corner. Hope I'm making sense :D

Yes mate, then I understand what you meant, and I can tell you, it has
NOTHING to do with the content or lack of content in the videos you
will make. It will of course be seen in the video as all else, but that's
natural. So, go recording another video and see if it gets 2 of'em once
more. Then when you feel you have something to show me, upload as
before to YT as "Unlisted" and give me the link to it.

You really read my mind there :D I was going to suggest to you that we should be nice to Wombat. I know he realizes that we don't mean what we say but I think sometimes it niggles him a little. And he's too nice a guy to fall out with :D

Hi Bengan Tried to make a video last night using the microphone to add my voice, all seemed to be going well but when I played it back you couldn't hear my voice because I had the microphone volume level set too low
I'd highly recommend using Audacity or something to record your microphone separate to your game recording. Then use a video editor to sync the recordings together. Just don't forget to have a technique to sync them such as saying "1 2 3 4 game" as you're un-pausing the game or something so you can line up "game" with the footage of the game un-pausing".

With this, it doesn't matter really what volume level your mic is set at, as it's separate so you can correct it as well as edit out say shouting in the background you don't fancy having in the video lol.

Using a screen recording's inbuilt mic recorder was the first thing I did too, quickly learnt I need to do it seperately.

Same with multiplayer, having chat audio on a separate sound device using something such as Virtual Audio Cables (or a secondary pc etc), keeps your game footage free from voices and enables you to get individual recordings from each person to again keep things more editable as well as higher quality. Though syncing each other's recordings is where it really gets fun lol!

Hope this helps you :)
