Yep that fast flipping rotation you will get when too high up north!
I removed ROS and now "Always North" and "North Locked" do not work at all. They both are identical to "Flat".

Edit: Here's a video showcasing that too.

@iMarbot

Odd, very odd, as I would have been flooded with reports about this if this was
common, so please, to avoid the possibility of your profile been "corrupt" by now,
create a totally new profile with no mods, start it up and check if the three
alternatives of Map alignment works as supposed.

I created a new profile (why it took so long to reply) and it works.

I guess you are right that my profile is corrupt which makes me really sad. I guess I will be spending the next few hours trying to see if I can fix it somehow :(

@iMarbot

Now you made me sad too, a corrupt profile is not something to be glad for!
Please, report back if you get the profile working properly again!

So I added ROS (plus RCs) and now it is broken again (on new profile) like in the original video/images where North pole is in East China :(

@iMarbot

Well, I'm damn tempted to say " NO COMMENTS", but I won't!
But my conclusion will be to never use ROS in a combo again!
Recommendation is, as it actually was before this from me, run
ROS as STANDALONE map! Thanks for testing mate!

EDIT: Or don't ever use the setting "Always north" together with
ROS, might work!

@BenjanJ

Just wanted to point out same issue as iMarbot with the BG and using always north gets shifted bad looks like BG and map running towards the east
and no matter what is used Flat, North locked, always north it now does not work at all always seems flat?
BG still looks aligned far as can I can tell. yes this is a new profile fresh from the oven. no other mods except all map mods yes including EAA, ROS
yes normally run as standalone more so EAA than ROS don't care much for ROS. Did not have this combo with BG v1.3 so not sure if there where issue there.
I will try remove ROS and EAA and try again not sure if that is it or not? combo global is based from wombat global combo.

@dOOmERdaZe

Hi there mate! Long time no see! Well, my theory is that ROS now have map data
so close to the North Pole up there, ROS is NOT in normal scale, that it causes the
BG display to flip. What seems to worse things is that it doesn't help to remove ROS
to get a proper display again. Seems as if the profile gets corrupt in some odd way!

Interesting well I will try remove both EAA and ROS from combo really does not need be in this combo so I will remove it and see what happens
this is a fresh out of the oven profile. ROS is a 1,15 scale correct? yea it does shoot up to the north alot? I always run EAA on standalone anyway
not much on ROS hardly use it but I thought what the heck I will throw all maps in the combo as possible and see. Gonna go remove it and see what happens
brb shortly. I would imagine this will happen with any of the BG 's .... yes been awhile, been lurking around the corners here and there :) hope all is well. staying safe.

@dOOmERdaZe

Yes, try to remove ROS, but as you can see from the recent posts, even a new profile got
damaged as soon as "Always north" got selected, at least what we noticed.

I'm well, thank you, sitting here in a self-inflicted quarantine though! It's been tough over
there too, I've seen on TV!
