Hi there,
I was also a kid when it happened. May I ask how old are you?
Of course always if such things happen the government always tells you "everything is fine - no danger".
Around this time in 1986 there was a power plant in north germany called "AKW Krümmel" ( AKW is short for Atomkraftwerk or nuclear power plant in English and Krümmel is the name of the little City nearby.
So also nearby is an experimental nuclear plant belongs to the City Geesthacht and at this plant there were I minor accident, no big explosion like tchernobil but there was a fire too, which had a strange lightning..
Officially there was never an critical accident and of course no radiation escaped from there.
But in a strange way several childs got sick with leukemia. Way more than normaly gets sick in 20 years according to statistics..
But that was not directed to this accident. But there were proofes but no one from the higher ups believed the people or the doctors..
I have seen about it in a documentary film on YouTube.
And of tchernobil there are also documentaries to find on YouTube. Much interesting.
Anyway, In the game it is of course not dangerous.. But the warning signs should be there, like yours on the Screenshot.
If the power plant will be there it could be a deliverypoint. But the payment for jobs to it or from it should be very Very good. You jeopardize your healthy by going there.
And if the plant will be a reachable delivery point there should be some sort of control points at the roads to it. I have seen documentaries where there are some control points. Your papers would be checked and so on.
In ETS2 it could be done like the border control points.
Just as a suggestion.
By the way sorry for that little off topic at the beginning.
Maybe you can add an off topic area to this forum for all of us just to have a talk about all possible other things than Roex..
Regards
MG Mike
