Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!
Re: World Background Maps
Bengan stay on what you have done for the community.
As written in another Post regarding road connections for promods that the often change thinks > it‘s there risk to be isolated
After so many years the map community have now one common sense about scale and postions of maps and thats because you have put a large amount of in map editor backgrounds.
Thanks again !!

Re: World Background Maps
Is it possible to create a program that converts standard mapcoordinates into SCS standard
so we finally can get everything in correct place?
I checked Garmins basemap and it is a huge difference compared to existing scs/mods basemaps

My friend, there is NOTHING called "standard mapcoordinates"! There's a trillion different, even pretty damn small ones though,
map projections of this Mother Earth globe. I'm sorry mate, but I'm using what you call SCS standard already.
EDIT: Consult Wikipedia or Google on the subject of Map Projections!

I was refering to standardized latitude - longitude coordinates..

Okay my friend, but that has nothing to do with projections, is just a way to tell
where on earth you are! Sorry, but the world of map projections is in itself a
science! So many different ones and some are even local. In Gothenburg, where
I worked at the City Planning Authority, who maintained the maps of the region,
we used the Gothenburg local coordinate system, so when collaborating with the
Swedish Central Map Authority in Gävle there had to be a projection conversion
from our to the Swedish National one called RT90!

@ShirBlackspots
Thank you very much! Like my ETS2 ones, it is in Lambert Conic Conformal projection
with parameters specified by SCS, different for ATS and ETS2 of course!
