It's a damn pity these words have to be spit out, but that's sadly how not only this, in a way,
little world of ETS2 and ATS functions. Human beings in general and in group tend to be that
way. I've really been pissed off now for this case, Arayas being treated badly, they even tried
telling me that I ruined economy in the game with my two islands. For me this is enough for
now, it won't be possible to get them change.

So folks, keep reporting errors and other peculiarities you find down the road and ANY ideas
about how to remedy their BAD MAPPING is welcome. i'm going to start here by asking Arayas
this. What does 'Rebuild map' in Map Editor actually do? When or for what reason should one
use it? Back to real business! :D

Rebuild map it's an obsolete function by my opinion. It was used before to activate ferries, new cities and so on. It may have some utility but i never find it. I have over one year of mapping i dont think i used that 3 times.
And when i used, it was in hope to fix something, but he bug was there afterwards so...

Okay, the reason I asked was that Sergey told me that he used it to 'clean out'
a map combination problem, so I tried it with your mp and the one we all know
too well by now! :lol: The resulting map sectors I made a mod of and placed it
above the two maps, and it actually cured the prefab problem in Koblenz. Any
comment on that? I haven't been driving around much after noting that it did
cure that problem, but do you think it could be worth testing that scheme out
a bit more in other places of the map, to see if it works there too?

If you open the editor having one map (one of them) and Promods first thing you will see it's a window with all terrain missmatch problems. I never closed that window, i have selected all items from it, right click-properties-OK and the problem it's fixed.
I supose F8 will simply reactivate properties of those items. I dont use it, but it may be a solution. Who knows?
Another thing, the gas stations from RusMap with problems i have realized they are in road connection actualy between PM-RM-PR. Not in actual RusMap.
I still think swiching those files after Promods may be a solution, or easy way, just create a patch for Promods with F8 like you did.
I am curious about what gas station we are talking about in ROEX with problems because i have my own prefabs for gas not related to vanilla or Promods.

Hi there,

untill now I haven't any other problems except flipped ferries. But I haven't been in Koblenz for long Time. Actually I returned to Germany via quick travel and bought a garage in Ulm. Next would be to buy a truck for the garage and move myself to Ulm.

Then I will take jobs from there.

If I would face any problems, missing texts, holes, more flipped ferries and so on I will report it.
If that kind of problems raise up on promods territory I will report it here as well as at promods forum even If I can guess what the answer will be..

Sorry Arayas, I either can't find those 2 gas stations or it's not repeatable. I apologize I should have tested that more before I commented, it could be a combination of different mods I have, including a gas station mod.

Here is an example though of why I flipped back to having RoEx 2.1 on top of Promods. This is a picture near Slavonski Brod. The one with the 'hole' in it is from placing RoEx 2.1 under Promods. The one without the hole in the same spot is placing RoEx 2.1 back in the original order described by Wombat Trucker.

Yes, you confirmed my theory with this, because that is Promods territory.
Roex starts on the big border on the way to Belgrade.

Thank you Arayas for this video! Now I know why, when I add RoEx and Promods to the editor at once,
so many prefabs are reporting some error! In my opinion, if Promods wants to edit prefab, it should not
replace another one. For example, if we have prefab 5x5_oneway_2joint_1a (I do not know if there are
any problems with it), if they want to edit it they should name it 5x5_oneway_2joint_1a_edit (or something other),
instead of writing with normal name, because it and causing problems. PROMODS TEAM COME ON.
