I didn't think that either, I just wanted you to test without that version of the limiter.
You will NEVER reach high FPS values in ETS2/ATS, so why not test running with the
config.cfg setting for V-Sync at 1/3 refresh rate by editing r_vsync value to "3"? It's
almost at the bottom of config.cfg!

Will this work if I have V-sync disabled in game but applied in nvcp? (for g-sync)

btw these are my nvcp settings if you don't mind checking them, there's a good chance I may have something set wrong :)

Ah sorry! I didn't know you used G-Sync, then use that of course! My bad!

Yes, I have seen that phenomenon too at some point. Could you please post the game log from
that run of the game?
I doubt that I can be of much help here with the problem, but just wanted to let you know that I had that exact same phenomenon a week or so ago and for the life of me I can't tell you what fixed it but it is gone! I noticed that ATS did not have the problem but ETS2 looked like a thousand flashbulbs going off in the trees and in the distance just like the posted video. Like I say, I don't know what fixed it but what I did was compare all settings with ATS vs ETS2 especially NPI, what I found was several of the settings in ATS were different (ones that I didn't change) from ETS2, so I on a whim changed all ETS2 settings to match ATS exactly (or as close as possible at least) and voila, cleared up totally! Just hope you find the trouble because that is not a good situation to be in!

Thanks for taking the time to post your experience, it's reassuring at least that someone else has encountered this (and solved it). I will check and compare the ATS settings too and see what I can find.

@Wakashi

Thanks mate for the info.

@miamibass

So, why not! Can you check your NPI settings once more towards the ones in the first post,
just to be sure there's not a missing or a wrong setting.

Ok gonna check through everything again. One thing I noticed comparing with the NPI of ATS was some differences in the stereo section, including a comment about rendering at wrong depth.
Not sure if this is significant?

@miamibass

The stereo stuff I don't think is relevant here. BTW, which Nvidia driver version do you use and which version of NPI?

@miamibass

Okay, but there's a HotFix too 445.98! I doubt it will help in this case though!

EDIT: Good morning! Any progress on your side? If not, can you reset the ETS2 profile
in NPI by hitting the marked button in below picture and then Apply changes. After
that remake Step 1 - 3 in first post ONLY and test if all is functioning properly. Then
you can add further settings and keep an eye on if the phenomenon resurfaces.
