Hi, I have a lot of flickering texture when I put 2x [2x Multisampling] and 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling. there's a way to removing it.
My graphics card Nvidia GTX 1050 ti
Can I have the best graphics setting, please?
I can't put 4x [4x Multisampling] and 4x Sparse Grid Supersampling because it's too much for my graphics card.
Hi,
if you want to play on stable 60 FPS you have unfortunately weak GPU and may doesn't have a chance even with 2x Sparse Grid Supersampling :-(
however, I found a solution where is a rely slightly impact on TOP AA quality ( then 4x sparse grid ) but the game can run on stable 60 FPS without chopping. So that you are not be upset about the expend energyin setting up.
So not everything is lost :-)

@flippy
Please, explain! What are you saying?
@Ticreut29
Why are you using in game SMAA? Which monitor refresh rate do you have configured in the system?

@alonzam99
AA = Anti Aliasing
Yes, the settings for the mirrors will let you have AA there too!
Now Iv'e checked and changing uset r_mirror_scale_y from 2 to 1 is just down the "mirror resolution" setting in the graphics settings from high to medium.
I don't think it is add anti aliasing to the mirrors.

Yes it is! The same case as with having Scaling set to 100%, the mirror setting of one give 100% scaling
to the mirrors and thereby the AA functions on them too! I promise!

So as to get a mirror scaling of 100% otherwise you won't get AA in the mirrors,
it will flicker heavily in them!

Hi,
integrated 1050ti even at 1920x1080 on 4xSSAA does not have enough power .. real is below 30FPS and not everyone wants to ride with such a slow response. 2XSSGA will not bring such nice graphics to 1K. I just used a slightly different AA setting in the NVI than what you recommend, and sticks to stable 60FPS on 2K. Although powerlines are somewhere noticeably jagged and a little bit flickers in the distance + on edges could be find grinning (as we know wit 2XSSGA), but the unplayable strobo graphics in the base is fixed with 60FPS.

Are you saying that you have the following AA settings?
Code: Select all
Antialiasing - Setting -------------------------------- '4x [4x Multisampling]
Antialiasing - Transparency Supersampling ------ '2x Sparse Grid Supersampling'
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
System: Windows 8.1
Processor: Intel Core i7-4790@
Memory: 16GB

@flippy can you show me how you do please because I don't know how you do?
@BenganJ My monitor refresh rate is 144hz
I can run 2X multisampling and 2x Sparse multisampling by using V sync 1/4 refresh rate in NPI, not in-game because the fps drop to 25 fps for no reason and return to 36 fps after some seconds.
My specs
====================================
Motherboard: MSI B450 GAMING PLUS MAX
Memory: Kingston Hyper Fury X 3200 MHz
Graphics card: Palit Geforce RTX 3070 Gamerock OC
Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
Storage: SSD Samsung 860 QVO

yes Im followin
2x Sparse Grid Supersampling
+ Ambient Occlusion etc
at 2K
but I deal with Antialiasing - Setting differently.
