[DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@olaf28 - Glad that you're happy with a "not ideal" solution.
What is your mirror distance set to? I use 100.
uset r_mirror_view_distance "100"
uset r_deferred_mirrors - perhaps set this to 0.
If you'd like to try another "smaller file" i've added "Smaller view 3, 4 & 5 (untested)".
Smaller view 1 - Has image 90% height and 80% width
Smaller view 2 - Has image 80% height and 80% width
Smaller view 3 - Has image full height and 70% width (black bar left and right)
Smaller view 4 - Has image full height and 65% width (black bar left and right)
Smaller view 5 - Has image full height and 60% width (black bar left and right)
Number of pixels per image (smaller = higher fps)
V0=2073600 <--1920x1080 full size image
V1=1492992
V2=1327104 <- works ok for you.
V3=1451520
V4=1347840 <- should run the same as V2
V5=1244160 <- better but less screen width
I'm really not sure many people would think having a smaller screen image and MSAA is better than standard game.
It also depends on how much in game settings people are happy to turn down.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
@JHTrucker
Oh, I thought I already had testified to how damn super satisfied I am now with my graphics and performance.
After you triggered me to add DSR to the AA scheme, getting up to native 1440p60 recording too, and also have
the hidden choices for V-Sync that you came up with, I HAVE NEVER HAD SUCH A GOOD IMPRESSION OF SCS's GAMES
AS I HAVE NOW! Thank you once more! I won't change my own settings right now, but people who get problems
with performance should definitely try the alternatives we have provided here too, it's not a fixed solution this!
Regarding SILK_Smoothness I think it's a very good feature and if it doesn't have a bad performance impact I think
people should use it. This is what it's all about: Click on image to get a bigger one!

@BenganJ - Yes i know you are super happy now. Which is always a good thing!
I don't use silk smooth and don't have stutters, that's why i thought it may be extra "unneeded" load now at vsync=2.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
For some people it might be too much, but I can tell you that,
as long as I can drive through the very demanding city of Kyiv,
without severe drop of FPS, actually steady locked FPS, I will
keep SILK_Smoothness.

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
This is incredible, I have found the perfect settings for me and I am on latest Nvidia drivers, thank you all for all the feedback everyone is giving.
Took me several hours to find the sweet spot fps wise and I have G-Sync monitor but I just enable vsync in game and get no tearing while if I do the suggested settings in NPI it looks like the AA isnt working.
Well I ain't alter any settings right now and this is how my game plays at this moment, put a link to this forum the description as I know a lot of people forgot about NPI since DX11.

@matsk89
It's so nice getting feedback about this, because the ones that make it to work,
really get a sort of Ahhhhh experience. It gets so much better than what SCS has
to offer as standard! Thank you so much for reporting about your success! :D
EDIT: I can also see that you're using my SAT BG and what's more, YOU USE THE
SETTING Always north! Thank you!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
After a long time, I was not here I need help.
How to do for making the game run smooth at 30fps, all time the game feels jerky while turning and I don't know what I should change in NPI.
Could Someone help me?
Have a nice day everyone, happy trucking!

@Ticreut29
First I want to know what refresh rate you use on your monitor! If I recall correctly
you got a new one 144hz, didn't you? Are you running at that refresh rate? Second
I want you to set in-game Vertical synchronisation to Disabled and drive around a
bit and watch how the FPS is varying. Then we will base our settings on that data!

Re: [DX11] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI)
I will prefer to use 144hz refresh rate if I play a shooter game like call of duty, so I use 60hz refresh rate for ETS2.
With 4x antialiasing, I get 57 to 51 fps on the highway.
50 to 34 fps in Barcelona, one of the heaviest area of promods.
I should also run other tests in Roex Kyiv and YKSRSK.

@Ticreut29
One more question! You bought that new monitor so that you could use Freesync,
don't you use that? Because that ought to give you a good syncing with tear free
and stutter free gaming!
