Yes to all of those, except the view in the cabin doesn't move.

Well, then we take it one step further! Being systematic in these cases makes it easier! :D
One folder up from your mod-folder you've got your global config.cfg file for ETS2 and also
for ATS, but one at a time. In that file you should have a line like this:
uset g_trackir "1"
If it says:
uset g_trackir "0"
change the 0 to 1.
Report back when done, please!

Mine just said config rather than global config, but in both cases user g_trackir was set to 1

That was just my way of saying that there is more than one file called config.cfg,
every profile has one too, so hence 'global', it covers ALL profiles! Okay, then we're
checking a couple of other things! In the opentrack window in the upper left, can
you see the three LEDs in a vertical pattern there accompanied by a cross? And is
that pattern moving as you move your head? In the same window, I assume you have
set 'Input' to PointTracker 1.1 and 'Output' to freetrack 2.0 Enhanced and also 'Filter'
to Accela? If that's correct, then click on the Mapping button and choose Yaw tab. It
should look something like this:
Mapping_Yaw.JPG
If not, make it look the same approximately using the mouse to add points and thereby
create curves! Report back again!

Yes to all the Questions and I have set the yaw map to match yours. should I adjust the config in all my latest profiles? Also might have to call it a night soon. My fault I should have started earlier

@bogdac

No, don't touch any of the profile configs, ONLY the global one! Did
you check in ETS2 after the change in Mappings, if that made any difference?
Yes, it's getting late, but if you want to go back to old mouse behavior, just
quit opentrack, and all will be as usual! We can continue tomorrow, you know
where to find me! :D
