@Road Runner & @All

I tested to place myself in a shadowed place using the free camera.
Yes, if you disable the Sunshafts in Graphics Options you won't get
penetrating sunshine. The same goes for setting Rain Probability
slider at the very left, you won't get rain in the cabin either.

But that takes away a bit of the charm of the game, so I prefer to
live with the anomalies I have. Everything else seems to work very
well for me. :D

topic or create one yourself!

I finally fix the lag caused by this error. By using your steam parameters and increasing distance in promods. I do a run from La Rochelle to Bilbao one of the worst parts of Promods with all models and these lod terrain error that's should probably made a lot of lag without these parameters.

My issue to date has been that I can create the near perfect representation but for one jouney session only. On reloading I experienced the terrible graphic anomolies shown in some of these posts. The problem sems to be that some systems the shutdown and saving processes are responsible. If you are someone who has also experienced this then I suggest the following:

NVI Settings as page 1 post.

Ingame graphics again almost the same as Page 1 but before initial drive set scaling to say 25% (probably anything other than 100%) go into Drive tht should clear any previous anomoly. Hit Esc, then into settings/graphics restore Scaling to 100% Hit Drive again and you should be all set to go.

On ending a session hit Esc and before quitting change Scaling to 25% and then quit. On your next session simply load the profile and then change the scaling back to 100. Before quitting reset scaling to (say) 25%

Hope this helps those with a similar problem. Let us know if this work around works for you, it certianly has for me! :D
Many thanks Road Runner I had the same problem but your work around has solved the issue for me :D

@bogdac

This reminds me of your previous problem when recording videos with that odd 16:10
monitor of yours! Then you had to reset the resolution, this time the Scaling! Suckers! :D :D :D

Enjoy, I've used that for many years now, all the time since a guy with nickname hemil created it,
later wik412 took over after hemil got banned, I think, on the SCS forum.
