@Arayas

Thanks for ”AUX2 parameters”.
Maybe someone who commented on my video. I introduced this forum (Bengan) because I don't know.

@clear F1

Yes, the rain in the cabin is true, but it is hardly noticeable the times I've
seen it, sunshine I haven't seen yet, but haven't looked for it either. It will
be interesting to watch your video then! :D :D :D

@Ticreut29 & @Arayas

The error and warning messages in the game log may be harmless, but takes
time to generate and output, so at least FPS might drop a bit! That aux[2]
I've seen many times now and NOT DAMN FAIR, that SCS doesn't document
new things like that properly!

THIS WORKAROUND NO LONGER NEEDED IF YOU CHOSE TO INSTALL SHADERS (see First Post and following posts)

My issue to date has been that I can create the near perfect representation but for one jouney session only. On reloading I experienced the terrible graphic anomolies shown in some of these posts. The problem sems to be that some systems the shutdown and saving processes are responsible. If you are someone who has also experienced this then I suggest the following:

NVI Settings as page 1 post.

Ingame graphics again almost the same as Page 1 but before initial drive set scaling to say 25% (probably anything other than 100%) go into Drive tht should clear any previous anomoly. Hit Esc, then into settings/graphics restore Scaling to 100% Hit Drive again and you should be all set to go.

On ending a session hit Esc and before quitting change Scaling to 25% and then quit. On your next session simply load the profile and then change the scaling back to 100. Before quitting reset scaling to (say) 25%

Hope this helps those with a similar problem. Let us know if this work around works for you, it certianly has for me! :D

@Road Runner

There you are my friend, I've missed you lately. As you might already have seen I have posted on the
SCS forum too to hopefully get some more input on this. There are problems, the raining AND ALSO
penetrating sunshine in the cabin view, it even penetrates the buildings in between the sun and the
cabin! I have NO problems other than those 2, so far, graphics never flips, I can go from driving direct
to menu screen, I can use console as before, so for me it's a win situation. Thanks for the new info,
it's at least an alternative to quit the game and restart from there! :D

BTW, check clear F1's latest video. There you'll see the sunshine error!

Just looked at the video - yes I have already seen these two graphic anomolies. But of course the creation of graphic anomolies was MS and Nvidia's justification for not issuing game AA compatabilty bits. Pleased that there is a work around for people like me with the corruption on saving at end of game. If there hadn't been :x :x :x

Bengan, I also experienced graphics inversion. It was a screen that did not know whether it was empty or under the ground. It was cured by restarting the game.

@clear F1

Yes, that's a known problem and one that we have not solved yet, other than the workaround
that Road Runner described in this post.

viewtopic.php?p=13639#p13639

I just recorded a video, without any problems, except that "raining in the cabin" anomaly. This
is how that looks! :D

I hope that someone will look for a solution to rain or sunlight.
The blurry look can be improved a bit with Nvidia's control panel. Tested from standard to 150%, but beyond that the whole is rough.
Bengan doesn't have a mirror, but the quality LOW is severe for those who always use a mirror. Of course, I checked more than the medium setting, but I can't use it.
I will watch your future solution for a while.

That's a good video, Mr B. For the sunshine does it make any difference turning off Sunbeams in game graphic settings. I tried this but wasn't sure - wonder if it relates to time of day???

And, cou;d you point me towards your Navigation HUD - woiuld be most grateful.

@clear F1

Yes my friend, the setting of Mirror Quality to Low is a MUST. I suffer from that
only when having to check on overtaking and when parking, you suffer all the
time! That is ONE good thing with setting FOV=50! :D :D :D

@Road Runner

Well, loosing the sunshafts too would be harder than mirror quality, Here's the
navigation stuff I have at the top of the screen.
