Have the mod loading times been adjusted with this fix?
Proc: i7-9750H 2,6 GHz (max. 4,5 GHz)
Mem: 16GB
Graphics: ASUS ROG -STRIX-RTX2060-O6G-GAMING 6 GB GDDR6

Test it yourself my friend! 09_KZ has already said himself that he hasn't got
a speedy machine, and I haven't had time to test myself as I'm right now
occupied with registering a Map Editor background image! Report back,
please if you do test! :D

load times is fixed...

on my setup.. secondary loading.. w/full map setup ~18-20sec...

Nice to see this mod fixed. But i will wait until the "fix" is already included in the official mod. Its starting to be really problematic to have so many mods already in the mod manager specially when its not necessary. The less the better, not the other way around.

BUT, can the fix be mixed with the main mod? or do they need to be activated separatedly?

Thats still excessive. It shouldnt take more than about 5 seconds top after the first loading.... that is what it takes my game to popup (without great steppe installed) and i have about 100 mods installed, including many map mods. After the great steppe is activated, it should not take more than a extra couple of extra seconds at most... of course i have the game installed in an SSD, so loading times should be lower than a regular hard disk.

Mate, if you read the message in first post by 09_KZ you will
know that there will NOT be more mods to keep track of, as
the fix is to REPLACE the DEF and MAP mods in the original
package, so go ahead my friend! :D

I didnt read the first post,i assumed it was a little mod placed above the main great steppe.. (because thats what most modders do, sadly) i just heard about this fix, and im glad its a replacement, and not another fix to paste in the mod manager. Why modders keep doing that, i dont get it, my mod manager list is already a complete mess and huge as a skyscrapper. :?
