1. 8 Mb/s, does that mean 8 Mbits/s or 8 Mbytes/s? I bet it is a 10 Mbits/s line you've got!
2. How big is the video file?

EDIT: Well, whenever it is finished uploading, try to get the address and post it here.

Sorry mate at the cost of sounding very stupid I am really in unknown territory here at the moment 53% and about 20 mins left

Okay, but if the speed is that low, around 10 Mbits/s, it'll take
some time to upload. Mostly it takes around 15-20 minutes for
me to upload my videos with a 10 times higher speed! Try to
see it out if you can. I'll be here!

Try to follow what I said earlier, the following:

John, I told you something wrong! Mostly I'm uploading 'Public' stuff, but
if you upload 'Unlisted' video, it won't show up on your first page on YT.
Instead you have to click on the button to the right saying something like
'YOUTUBE STUDIO' or 'YOUTUBE CLASSIC' and a new page will be created
again where you to the left can choose 'Videos', I think. Now there you
should be able to see your video and hovering above it, you can see a
'Play' button |> so hit that and you'll be able to copy the address!

Click on the Cyan Button where it says YOUTUBE STUDIO or YOUTUBE CLASSIC,
and when the new page is ready, you'll see 'Videos' to the left! Click on that!
Then return here and I'll guide you further!

ok I only had the option of Youtube video beta clicked on that now in the centre it says ready to get your channel started underneath that a blue box with upload video lots f icons down th left side of screen
