World Background Maps

I will be looking into a SSD soon as I can but HD was a spur of the moment. :)
my MB supports m2 not sure of the type will have to check. But a normal SSD
would be great just they were not to cheap while back. What is a good
SSD (normal) what size is the best large as possible I suppose, What brand of
SSD is the better one.

The Next Roextended map is looking great as well great work on the map so far

Hi there mate! Just to fill in some info for you. The base data for this BG has
nothing to do with the NASA BIG one, it is plain Google Satellite image data.

Is the BG gonna be for both PM and SCS Base as well as other map mods
or is gonna be 2 SAT BG one for each as before? Is ready for testing
if not thats ok ..... what map combo just Base or PM you running it on or Both?

As long as Promods hasn't fixed their UK problem, there will always be 2 versions.
The registration and test were done with SCS Vanilla map! The original Google
data export to a PNG image was around 650MB in size with a resolution of
27600x16631 and a DPI of 1800 :!:

Here's another video showing the EURASIA SAT BG, but with the setting "Always north"!
It flips a lot at the very north, but you'll see the point with it!

WOW!!! Thats just incredible! This will make it so much easier for the modders behind ROC to understand what they are doing wrong!
Seriously, I never expected the day to come where we could have an actual SAT background down in africa and way past Great steppe and Middle East!
