Stars of the Night ATS and ETS2

Whats up guys .... hope you all are well ...!

Here is a tiny mod to make more stars at night .... both ATS and ETS2
just got tired of the mostly black sky at night when driving at night
only replace the stars.dds file along this path: /base/model/skybox/stars.dds
I tried putting a moon image in as well but did not have much luck on that
still looking in to it. So here is the tiny mods just place it as high up
in mod manager so you see the effect of the stars.

Im still waiting for SCS to include a skybox with a moon... but SCS seems to hate the moon for some reason. Hm, i dont find stars in need of any tweak, i like the ones done by SCS.

They actually improved stars in skyboxes. Not that it matters because the lightning system is horrible, but still.

The moon would be a great thing. It's so dark at night even with long lights on. Are there any mod with moon for ets2 (ats) 1.4 ?

ok guys I have tried to add Moon into game works as is from about 9:15 pm in game till 5:30 am game time then moon fades away only on clear night no clouds no rain
seems to work as is :) image is static. Also may not be ideal or realistic with in game weather or skys etc ... climate or otherwise. But is the best I can do so far
would like to have it illuminate light as the moon does but really not got that far with it I guess. Maybe someone could take the concept and make the moon a model
in blender and run with that maybe? It is just really a concept and not ideal nor real like in real life so to speak but SCS has never had a moon in game least I have never seen it. :(
The mod I created just goes on top of the Stars mod I did few days ago. Nothing special but maybe a laugh or two or maybe you like it maybe you don't but I tried.
mod maybe released later on see what comes of it from the pics you can view.

Ok ready to laugh b/c I do, keep in mind its not ideal or realistic but looks ok in the nightsky on clear night, I suppose since there has never been a MooN in game.

IMO it would be better if somehow it could be a model/with halo around moon emitting light as in rl
but since I do not model ...maybe someone else could give it a go.

I would like to have moon emit light if possible I may try something else with what is there who knows?

Well it is not bad , it is not good, but the moon is back in the game

Can this mod complement JBX Skyboxes? I found these stars beautiful.
