For some reason, I still get random crashes when I enter the map screen, more often when I am about to do my delivery job and then I enter the map screen.
Also, what I have observed is that the loading of the map takes a long time, and it lags quite a bit when zooming in or out, and moving around the map.

This is the mod I'm using:
Universal SCS style background mod v1.0.

Any fixes or workaround about this? Thanks.

Two things.
1. That SCS Style BG shouldn't give much lag when zooming, but it is a BIG one.
2. Regarding your crashes, please post your game log after such a crash!

I have the same problem.
But sometimes crash when a enter the freight market trailers

Then your crashes doesn't have to do with the zooming of the UI map,
so just as I asked before, post your game log after you had a crash!

Arayas told me that was a memory problem
I note that when i select freight market the memory comsumption goes down.
I don't know the problem i'm trying to see what is it

What Steam Launch Options do you have? I have these.

The -mm_pool_size argument has as a maximum value half the memory your machine has installed.
Also, have you edited the following parameter in the config.cfg file?
