@09_KZ

Yes, I agree with you totally. I myself have been running the game for ages, but it was when I got into
map editing, sponsored by Arayas, that I first realized what a sparse environment those gorgeous maps
were done in. Already as a novice I had to make my own Editor background, as the inbuilt by SCS didn't
have anything to help me build those two Swedish Islands. To be honest, SCS could have done a lot more
by making it easier and having prepared a Editor background covering a much larger area. They knew
how popular the map editing was to the community. Well, hopefully I will be able to see a great many
more maps be produced in their correct locations in the future. Maybe even the farthest one, the ADDON
MAP of Japan, done by Project Japan group, will be the first to surface pretty soon. :D

@KFZKLINIK

That is pretty much the same order I have, so I want to know
if that's the ONLY mods you have in that profile. A game log
posted would be the best choice for me to see the whole
picture.

Yes, I have a test profile. Since I have only the mods in it and the mods about it.

GPS RG PRO 2.0 Fix CanaDream
GPS RG PRO 2.0 Fix Coast to Coast
GPS RG PRO 2.0 Fix Mexico Extremo
GPS RG PRO 2,0 ATS

Map Mods:

Gamelog I do not have to hand at present. I'm on another computer. maybe it is the GPs mod.
I have to try this evening without these mods.

Yes, as I specify on in the first post, I recommend that you place my SAT BG at the very top
of the Mod Manager, so try that first of all. It is a high probability that the GPS mods have
a map_data.sii file in them and then the BG will be misplaced!

Since we are talking about distant lands like Japan, I will tell you one story.
When I just got carried away with the map editor, or rather the background image, the Russia Far East project was formed. He received a background image and an archive of unique models weighing about 600-700 mb. according to those outline of the background it turned out somewhere +0150 sector. For example, Karaganda was at +0065, now it should move to +0051. Based on this, you can calculate how many sectors you need to build at least one road :!: :D

Unfortunately, this project has not received further development. But all the same, I know that he is, and perhaps all the same, someday he will receive the light.

@09_KZ

Well my friend, I have provided mapping groups Editor backgrounds for the following
countries. Kazakstan, Uzbekistan, Turkmenistan, Iran, Iraq, UAE, Oman, Morocco,
Algeria, Tunisia and Japan. I really hope to see at least some of them to run on. :D
Via Sergey061 even the SRMap team has got a new Editor background, but I realize
that it's a hard work to re-locate the whole map, you should know that. :D

The higher the map sector density, the more difficult it is to manipulate it. I also hope but it takes so long ... Cartographers are so lazy :lol:
