World Background Maps

@BenganJ I thought textures had to be power of two. The new updated 1.2 is 10072x10072, and the previous was 4096x4096

Shouldn't the background textures be something like 4096x4096, 8192x8192 or 16384x16384?

I should mention that the game doesn't seem bothered by the size, but the background map is shifted west a little.

Nope, I realized early that the UI BGs needn't be a power of two. The
BGs needn't even be squares, the ETS2 Universal one is rectangular!

Shifted? Tell me more explicit how, please! Screenshot with indication?

How about something like this for an upcoming update of the ETS2 satellite BG.
Anyone keen to start mapping Australia, New Zeeland or Indonesia in scale 1:19?
Or South Africa, Nigeria, Tanzania or Angola, all as addons in the proper location?
