Hello there,

After shifting their map to it's right position in the background map from Bengan, the map looks for me the same what it was before. Although it was said something about a rescale to 1 to 19 for me it doesn't look really smaller now.

It would be interest g to me how they managed to shift the entire map and make it to look exactly like before.

When I look into the editor and see how many things especially in city are in need to selected it must have been a huge job to shift the whole map..

Regards

@MG Mike

I have no idea how they actually did it, but shifting a map, without re-scaling or rotating it,
is done in about 10 - 15 seconds! Maybe Sergey061 can shed some light on how they did it!
I only supported them with a properly located Map Editor BG for the area.

I think they split it into a lot of ~ 50-70 pieces or more, then they removed ~ 5-10% of the content from each of them, and then there was a puzzle game. And all this was done at the same time. In general, there is a lot of work ... . :moil:

Ok.. I am asking cause a fellow Mapper and I are thinking about to shift some unlucky placed cities..
And he said this is a lot of effort to select all and shift without getting the risk that the editor crashes.

@Bemgan, once I asked about a background ap for the editor. You gave but my colleague didn't made it to put it in..
Can you provide the full backgroundmap as it is as a Satteliten Pic in the game and alternative a road map Pic same size for the editor and a tutorial which showes where to exchange the files with the original backgroundmap of the editor?

Sorry for going Offtopic now..

The map moved piece by piece. First, we split it into separate areas, cut some of the roads, and removed some villages. And then all this was glued into a single whole ...
The amount of work is not small)))
And so it happened. That the map visually remained the same in size, but in fact it lost about a fifth of the territory.
