TR Extended Map: Marmara Edition Part 1 Now Available!

The long-awaited day has come. Today we are happy to release the first part of the Marmara expansion of our map mod. Are you ready to turn the route to the Gulf of Izmit in Euro Truck Simulator 2?



As you can see in our previous blogs, in this version, you will be able to transport to large industrial areas in Kocaeli’s Gebze and Körfez districts. At the same time, you will be able to cross the Gulf of Izmit by using the Osmangazi Bridge, which was designed for the mod. As an alternative to the bridge, you can also use the Eskihisar-Topçular ferry. The choice is up to you! With our mod, you can also enjoy navigating complex intersections designed very close to the real thing.

Let us remind you that the updates and expansions we made for Istanbul are also included in this version. All that remains is to download the new version of our mod from our site. You have a nice way. Have a nice trip!

With the TR Extended Map mod, you can travel on new roads in Istanbul and pass to the Anatolian Side by using Yavuz Sultan Selim Bridge. In addition to the city view, you can transport on local roads in rural areas of Istanbul. Ambarlı Port and Istanbul Airport are also among the important points you will discover.



TR Extended Map Mod Istanbul Edition will have the following main features and contents for drivers to explore:

✓ Over 1000 kilometers of roads to drive on
✓ Many new models
✓ More than 500 new traffic signs
✓ More companies in Istanbul to work for
✓ Rebuilt intersections
✓ Northern Marmara Motorway

I am very curious about this map
But I am not sure how this fits into the current Project Turkey

It doesn't as it is just an enhancement or addon to SCS's DLC of Istanbul and also
will be compatible with Promods in it's development.

EDIT: In my opinion, there's way too many Turkey projects now, this, Promods ME
connection to it's Beyond the Black Sea and main Promods and of course Project
Turkey here. There's maybe even more in development out there!

I guess that is due to the latest DLC. Some are not satisfied with how SCS made things and want to improve it.
I think this will also happen once Ibreia is released

As I said, probably there are more out there and I don't see the need for it at all.
Have a look at my Ultimate World Map view BG, there's plenty of possible countries
and areas to map out there, so WHY pick an area that already is done multiple times?

We are satisfied with what SCS has done. We use materials belonging to Turkey in our mod through to the Black Sea DLC.

Our mod includes a port to reach Europe by sea. Also, our mode has new Airport, a new bridge and the Anatolian Side of Istanbul. Also, we rebuilt some intersections. We designed new models. We use real traffic signs in our mod. About 400 new traffic signs have been created.We have been working on Istanbul about 7 months.

In short, when our map mod is released, you will better understand WHY we do it.

It is looking nice @bona. After working on İstanbul for 7 months, i hope you will still have patience for the rest of the country.

TR Extended Map Mod: Release Date Announcement and Launch Trailer

TR Extended Map Mod Istanbul Edition is finally completed which we announced in April 2020 with the title ‘Something is changing’. Our team worked hard to reflect the expanding Istanbul to Euro Truck Simulator 2 in a detailed and realistic. New models have been created for the mod. A realistic road network and environment was designed. Finally, the testing process of our mod has been successfully completed. We are now ready to announce the release date of the first version of our highly anticipated map mod.

TR Extended Map Istanbul Edition will be released on the 17th of December 2020
