@tantalus

According to Sergey061 SimKA is mapping, so I think there will be something
done later on! So, keep bug hunting, mate! I'll go and check your posted one.

Thanks for the screenshot! :lol: ;) SR is one of the most challenging maps it reminds me to mexico extremo for ATS, i read in one post form Sergey that Simka was working on it, but i thought it was more a keeping the mod up to date thing, im glad to hear that SimKA is still working on it!.

EDIT: How did you do to go to the exact bug position? through the editor? or is there an option in-game i missed (through the console maybe)?

@tantalus

Yes, I open console and execute the following, just the ending coordinate part from F11 output!

Code: Select all

goto 111251;13.0778;20984.5;1.83378;-0.215674
Nifty stuff and damn good to have! :D

Thanks, another glitch, i dont know if it is the bridge collision that is missplaced (probably since i got damage to the trailer), didnt have the chance to test it with a different load. The space between the bridge and the load was really tiny but it should have been enough. I had no way to get a decent shot of that since that place was plagued with wires (Its Novorossysk) and the camera kept closing up to the trailer. Oh wait now that i think of it, i could have used free camera instead chase camera... :oops:

Bridge too low or invisible wall? ;[03/01/2020 20:09] (sec+0026+0006);104964;12.0133;24224.5;0.955056;-0.168675

@tantalus

Please, give us the F11 result from bugs.txt file instead of the screen
coordinate display. You can't do a copy/paste from an image!

@tantalus

Sorry mate, can you describe where that happened, because
I drove under that bridge in both directions? Check video!

EDIT: This one I think you have to investigate yourself, because
I don't know which trailer you used and you have the F11 popup
right in front of where the eventual problem would be.

Thats because you are carrying a low load. The report was about the collision of the bridge being missplaced, you need to test it with an oversized load that is almost as high as the bridge. The collision of the bridge must be larger than the bridge model itself so even if the trailer seems to fit, it will hit the bridge... anyways. I dont know how to explain it better because im not sure how the editor works. Or if the collision system even works the way im thinking. In any case it should be easy to identify/fix in the editor just looking at the collision box...i guess?

Yes im sorry about the screenshot the camera kept getting closer to the trailer because of its size, and i am in the left lane because i was testing both lanes.

I realized that in the end if you read my post again. Right now I haven't
got the time to test the problem any more, so test again and this time,
as you said, use the free camera!
