[DX9] Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector (NPI) [CLOSED]
Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Nope Tapir, it will NOT! As I said, very minor changes done and has nothing to do
with SCS 1.35 versions in DX11. When it comes to that I think the only solution
is for SCS to include support for a good AA method, MSAA e.g., MLAA is just crap.
We'll see what happens, but probably not in the upcoming version. :(

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Well, i have a few days by now trying to play the game on decent visuals, testing some areas of the map. Totally failed.
Few months ago, for mobility reasons, i changed my main station to a laptop, giving my old PC to my son, for that matter.
So, despite the fact that my updated Legion Y520 (added nvme m2 Samsung SSD+Kingston SSD and 16GB RAM versus stock 8GB ram and HDD,it has I5 and GTX 1050) has way better specs than my old PC (AMD A10 and GTX 750) i can't make this stupid optimized game to work on normal range. At home i use a 60hz Philips 32 inch monitor (big for mapping in special) connected by HDMI to my laptop.
With the values from this topic it looks horible and laggy. From testing i was able to reduce the BAD flickering lines and fences looks only by increasing the scaling to 400%. Laggy. I reduced the resolution. Bad visuals. Increased all to ultra. Laggy. Decreased all to medium + increase the resolution. Bad visuals.
I'm sure it will look nice on my laptop screen, but it's small. Changing supersampling, multisampling, mode, setting to antialising for nothing. The only way the visuals are decent, not top quality, but decent is in full resolution of the monitor 2560 x 1440 (or maybe a step lower 16/9 scaling) and 300-400 scaling. Wich is not ideal because is laggy as hell. The laptop temperatures are quite low, no problem there.
I'm so pissed off right now.

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Arayas, I've heard you grumbling every now and then, that you've tried
this scheme, but I'm also aware of the fact, that you are the kind of guy,
who wants to do things by yourself, in your own way. If it's OK with you,
we could try this together, in at least a pseudo systematic way, we want
to look good, don't we? :D Today I'm about to install my new graphics
card, but after that, during the weekend we could have a go at this
problem. Ok?

Re: Help regarding Nvidia Profile Inspector
Yeah, probably wanted to describe this because i'm sick of it. Roaming the internet i found out some situations similar to this one and when i will get home i will see if there is a solution for this, not a hardware one. If not, i will find some time to ask you some stuff. Thanks.

@Veisborg
Choose what? Or do you mean it doesn't work anymore with all the old settings?
If so, first question will be. Are you using DX11 mode when running the game?
Second, which driver number are we talking about?

@BenngaJ,
As a great graphics and Nvidia Inspector expert, I take the liberty of consulting the great master:
Could Nvidia Inspector in the first post setup be used with the mod Naturalux chart?
I installed I thought that in some moments was well but also caused overheating in the video card and turned off the video.
I could not identify the cause. My video card is a GTX 760.

@Clahoz
Sorry mate, Nvidia Profile Inspector is ONLY for DX9 running games,
The NaturaLux is ONLY for DX11 running games. So, no it will NOT
be a solution for that situation.
